Lord Mayor Visits Clarksons Platou Hong Kong

The directors of Clarksons Platou Asia were privileged to host the Lord Mayor of London, Lord Jeffrey Mountevans, at a private dinner held at the China Club in Hong Kong on 10 September.

The Lord Mayor was visiting Hong Kong and China to promote bilateral commercial ties between Tier 1 cities in China and the City of London. A subject particularly close to the Lord Mayor's heart is the strengthening of bilateral maritime ties between Maritime London and Hong Kong. We were thus doubly privileged that the previous Thursday (8 September) the Lord Mayor also spoke at a lunch hosted by Chairman of the Hong Kong Shipowners Association Ms Sabrina Chao.  During which the he spoke highly of Clarksons Platou and our role as the top player in the maritime services sector in London, the Far East and indeed globally.
