He was part of the team building the Oil derivatives desk within Clarksons and in 2019 he was tasked with starting the LPG FFA desk. In 2019 he started the LNG FFA desk alongside LPG which is now the most dominant in this space.
Chris has multiple industry qualifications including CF30, Series 30 and 32. He has facilitated 4 world first derivative trades and was promoted to a Director in 2024.

With over a decade of experience in ship broking, his key brokerage experience is in short- and long-term charter, and sale and purchase, of HLVs, CLVs, Accommodation and Construction vessels in the global offshore market. His expertise also involves running exclusive sales mandates for complex maritime transactions.

Tommy retired from Clarksons in 2020 having headed the Gases Division for 15 years but returned as a consultant early 2022 to assist the division’s evolution into CO2 and greener ammonia as part of its gases portfolio.

Formerly, from 2000-2013, he was a specialist energy and natural resources journalist, working on publications and news services for ThomsonReuters, the Financial Times Group and Energy Intelligence while also being a published book author on oil markets and price formation.
Danny holds degrees in philosophy & literature, journalism and international relations/political economy.

Over the past eight years, Tom has built strong relationships with major fertiliser producers, importers and traders, negotiating time charter fixtures and providing insight to inform his clients’ shipping strategies.

Broker Derivatives Battery Metals GenevaFollowing a degree in Geography at Newcastle University, Philip joined the British Army. He completed officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was subsequently selected to join the Household Cavalry Regiment, completing operational tours in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
Following his time in the Army, he moved into commodities and joined Arraco Global Markets, a London based energy brokerage. Whilst at Arraco Philip built a desk centred on Battery and Base metals, both physical and futures focused. He was later tasked to establish and run the new Swiss office, based in Zug, again looking at metals, alongside emerging markets.
In January 2023 Philip joined Clarksons Dry Cargo division, based in Geneva. He was tasked with building out their metals book and further developing links with various trading entities, before eventually moving across to Clarksons Platou Futures Ltd to establish the Base and Battery metals business.
Philip has completed the CISI Capital Markets Programme, his NFA Series 32 and is a member of the Chartered Management Institute.

Prior to joining Clarksons, he was managing director at a marine salvage and dredging company called the Korea Salvage Co., Ltd., based in Busan, South Korea.
With drastic climate changes occurring worldwide, there is an ever-growing demand for clean, renewable energy sources to help nations achieve their net-zero goals. South Korea is striving to reduce carbon emissions through offshore wind power, one of the least CO2 intensive forms of electricity generation. Steve is eager to support his country in reaching its net-zero targets by the early 2030s.
Steve was born and raised in Busan, South Korea, until he was fourteen years old when he moved to the United States. Steve earned a Juris Doctor degree from Ave Maria School of Law on Dean’s Scholarship, and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and mass communication from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
Steve currently resides in Busan, South Korea with his family and enjoys fishing and skiing.
