Elwin Taylor has worked in liquefied gases since 1979 as a shipbroker, commodity trader and chartering manager, based in London, Singapore and Switzerland.

He joined Clarksons in 2022 as a consultant with the CO₂ and clean ammonia team.

Christian graduated from the University of Leeds with a 2.1 in Geology and started his career as an Oil Broker in 2015 before joining Clarksons in 2017.

He was part of the team building the Oil derivatives desk within Clarksons and in 2019 he was tasked with starting the LPG FFA desk. In 2019 he started the LNG FFA desk alongside LPG which is now the most dominant in this space.

Chris has multiple industry qualifications including CF30, Series 30 and 32. He has facilitated 4 world first derivative trades and was promoted to a Director in 2024.

Neil graduated with a First-Class Honours degree from the University of Glasgow.

He started his career in shipbroking in 2012, focusing on the subsea and construction market, which he is still involved in today alongside the offshore renewables market.

With over a decade of experience in ship broking, his key brokerage experience is in short- and long-term charter, and sale and purchase, of HLVs, CLVs, Accommodation and Construction vessels in the global offshore market. His expertise also involves running exclusive sales mandates for complex maritime transactions.

Tommy Baggio has been working in the liquefied gas industry since the early 1980s, first on the chartering desk of a well-known gas ship owner and thereafter as a gas shipping, commodity and asset broker, a broking career spanning almost 40 years.

Tommy retired from Clarksons in 2020 having headed the Gases Division for 15 years but returned as a consultant early 2022 to assist the division’s evolution into CO2 and greener ammonia as part of its gases portfolio.

Daniel O’Sullivan joined the Clarksons gas department analysis team in 2023, having previously worked for a decade in the seaborne LPG industry across a mix of analysis, ops and chartering roles with employers including Saudi Aramco and Turkey’s largest LPG importer Aygaz.

Formerly, from 2000-2013, he was a specialist energy and natural resources journalist, working on publications and news services for ThomsonReuters, the Financial Times Group and Energy Intelligence while also being a published book author on oil markets and price formation.

Danny holds degrees in philosophy & literature, journalism and international relations/political economy.

From 2008 to 2010 Henning completed an apprenticeship to become a ‘Schifffahrtskaufmann’ (Shipping Merchant) at a small Hamburg based Container Shipbroking company. In 2013, after gaining some years of experience in Drybulk & MPP chartering, Henning first came into contact with Offshore Wind vessels.

Since his introduction into the Offshore Wind industry, he has been interested in all of the different vessel types that are involved for the construction and maintenance of Offshore Windfarms.

Henning joined Clarksons in early 2021, working in the Hamburg office with a focus on chartering and Sale & Purchase of Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs), Tugs & Workboats as well as Guard Vessels for the Offshore Renewables Market.

Steve was appointed the global head of Clarkson Research, the data and analytics arm of the Clarksons Group, in 2012. He leads a dynamic team of experts providing widely respected data and intelligence around shipping, trade, offshore and the maritime energy transition. Besides continued analytical contributions, Steve has lead the launch or re-launch of offerings including Shipping Intelligence Network, World Fleet Register, Renewables Intelligence Network and Fuelling Transition. After graduating from Oxford University, Steve originally joined Clarksons as a shipbuilding analyst in 1999. He has previously managed the consultancy and valuation teams at Clarksons and is also a Director of Clarksons Valuations.
